Description
A delightful appetizer combining creamy brie cheese and tangy cranberry sauce, wrapped in soft flatbread.
Ingredients
- 2 large flatbreads or tortillas (about 240 g total)
- 6 oz brie cheese, sliced (170 g)
- 1/2 cup cranberry sauce or cranberry relish (120 g / 120 ml)
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella (55 g)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (15 ml)
- Fresh thyme or parsley, chopped (optional garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Lightly brush both sides of the flatbreads with olive oil.
- Spread a layer of cranberry sauce over each flatbread.
- Arrange brie cheese slices evenly on top of the cranberry sauce.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella over the brie.
- Roll each flatbread tightly, ensuring the fillings stay inside.
- Slice the rolled flatbreads into pinwheels, about 1-inch wide.
- Place the pinwheels cut-side up on a lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until golden and the cheese is melty.
- Remove from the oven, sprinkle with fresh herbs if desired, and serve warm.
Notes
These pinwheels are best served warm but can also be enjoyed at room temperature.
