Description

A delightful appetizer combining creamy brie cheese and tangy cranberry sauce, wrapped in soft flatbread.


Ingredients

  • 2 large flatbreads or tortillas (about 240 g total)
  • 6 oz brie cheese, sliced (170 g)
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce or cranberry relish (120 g / 120 ml)
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella (55 g)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (15 ml)
  • Fresh thyme or parsley, chopped (optional garnish)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Lightly brush both sides of the flatbreads with olive oil.
  3. Spread a layer of cranberry sauce over each flatbread.
  4. Arrange brie cheese slices evenly on top of the cranberry sauce.
  5. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella over the brie.
  6. Roll each flatbread tightly, ensuring the fillings stay inside.
  7. Slice the rolled flatbreads into pinwheels, about 1-inch wide.
  8. Place the pinwheels cut-side up on a lined baking sheet.
  9. Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until golden and the cheese is melty.
  10. Remove from the oven, sprinkle with fresh herbs if desired, and serve warm.

Notes

These pinwheels are best served warm but can also be enjoyed at room temperature.
