Description

A festive and delightful Brie cheese and cranberry wreath, perfect for holiday gatherings. It’s easy to make and beautifully presented.


Ingredients

  • 2 sheets puff pastry, thawed
  • 8 oz Brie cheese, cut into small cubes
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce (whole berry or jellied)
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs (for garnish)
  • Fresh cranberries (for garnish)
  • Powdered sugar (optional, for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Place a small oven-safe bowl in the center of the baking sheet as a guide for the wreath shape.
  3. Roll out puff pastry sheets slightly and cut each sheet into 8 triangular strips.
  4. Arrange the strips in a circle around the bowl with wide ends overlapping and pointed ends facing outward.
  5. Place cubes of Brie on the overlapping section and top with cranberry sauce, pecans, and rosemary.
  6. Fold the pointed end of each triangle over the filling and tuck underneath the wide end to form the wreath.
  7. Mix beaten egg with water and brush over the wreath.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and flaky.
  9. Let cool for 5 minutes before transferring to a platter.
  10. Garnish with fresh rosemary and cranberries; dust with powdered sugar if desired.
  11. Serve warm with extra cranberry sauce for dipping.

Notes

Make sure to thaw puff pastry completely for easier handling. You can use different types of cheese or garnishes for variation.
