Description

A vibrant and refreshing drink made with butterfly pea flowers, ginger, and lemon that showcases beautiful color transformation and delightful flavors.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups (500 ml) water
  • 2 tablespoons dried butterfly pea flowers
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon honey (optional)
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 teaspoon raw apple cider vinegar


Instructions

  1. Boil the water in a saucepan.
  2. Once boiling, add the sliced ginger to infuse flavor.
  3. Remove from heat and add the dried butterfly pea flowers.
  4. Let the mixture steep for about 10 minutes.
  5. Strain the tea if preferred, or leave the flowers in for a rustic look.
  6. Stir in the honey (if using), lemon juice, and apple cider vinegar.
  7. Serve warm or cool over ice.

Notes

Adjust sweetness with honey or substitute with agave nectar. Fresh ginger enhances flavor. Chill before adding ice to prevent dilution.
