Description

A quick and easy dish full of flavor, combining tender chicken with colorful vegetables and a kick of spicy black pepper.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Cooked rice, for serving


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, marinate the chicken with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and black pepper for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and ginger, sauté for 30 seconds.
  4. Add the marinated chicken and stir-fry until browned and cooked through.
  5. Toss in sliced bell pepper, broccoli, and carrot; stir-fry for an additional 3-4 minutes.
  6. Serve hot over cooked rice.

Notes

Slice the chicken thinly for quicker cooking. Adjust the amount of black pepper to suit your taste. Feel free to add other vegetables, like snap peas or mushrooms.
