Ingredients
- 2 pounds Ground Beef (80/20)
- 1 cup Italian Breadcrumbs
- 2 large Eggs
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 1/2 cup Ketchup
- 1 medium Minced Onion (finely chopped)
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1/2 cup Ketchup (for topping)
- 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, Italian breadcrumbs, eggs, milk, ketchup, minced onion, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix everything together until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish or on a lined baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, mix together the topping ingredients: ketchup, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce. Spread this mixture over the top of the meatloaf.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 60 minutes, or until the meatloaf reaches an internal temperature of 160°F (70°C).
- Allow the meatloaf to rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding your favorite herbs or spices. Store leftover meatloaf tightly wrapped for up to 3 days in the fridge or 3 months in the freezer.
