Description

Bang Bang Salmon Bites are tender salmon cubes coated in spices and tossed in a creamy bang bang sauce, making them perfect for appetizers, snacks, or a main course.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound salmon fillets (skin removed)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Thai sweet chili sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • ½ teaspoon lime juice

Instructions

  1. Cut the salmon into uniform 1-inch cubes for even cooking.
  2. Toss the salmon cubes with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat, add the salmon cubes, and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. For extra crispiness, transfer the salmon to a lined baking sheet and bake at 400°F for an additional 10-12 minutes or air fry at 375°F for 8-10 minutes.
  5. While the salmon cooks, prepare the bang bang sauce by whisking together mayonnaise, Thai sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and lime juice until smooth.
  6. Toss the cooked salmon bites in the bang bang sauce before serving.

Notes

Use fresh, wild-caught salmon for better flavor; adjust spice levels to your taste; do not overcook the salmon.
