Description
Bang Bang Salmon Bites are tender salmon cubes coated in spices and tossed in a creamy bang bang sauce, making them perfect for appetizers, snacks, or a main course.
Ingredients
- 1 pound salmon fillets (skin removed)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons Thai sweet chili sauce
- 1 teaspoon sriracha
- 1 teaspoon honey
- ½ teaspoon lime juice
Instructions
- Cut the salmon into uniform 1-inch cubes for even cooking.
- Toss the salmon cubes with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and pepper.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat, add the salmon cubes, and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- For extra crispiness, transfer the salmon to a lined baking sheet and bake at 400°F for an additional 10-12 minutes or air fry at 375°F for 8-10 minutes.
- While the salmon cooks, prepare the bang bang sauce by whisking together mayonnaise, Thai sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and lime juice until smooth.
- Toss the cooked salmon bites in the bang bang sauce before serving.
Notes
Use fresh, wild-caught salmon for better flavor; adjust spice levels to your taste; do not overcook the salmon.
