Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 24 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 3 cups apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • Caramel sauce for drizzling (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. To make the graham cracker crust, mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter in a bowl. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar and vanilla extract, then mix in the eggs one at a time until well combined. Pour the cheesecake batter over the crust.
  4. In another bowl, toss sliced apples with cinnamon and sugar. Spoon the apples over the cheesecake batter, then set aside.
  5. For the streusel topping, combine flour, oats, brown sugar, and softened butter until crumbly. Sprinkle the streusel evenly over the apples.
  6. Bake for about 60-75 minutes, or until the center is set and the edges are slightly golden. Allow the cheesecake to cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
  7. Drizzle with caramel sauce before serving, if desired.

Notes

Make sure your cream cheese is fully softened for a smooth filling. Use a variety of apples for more depth of flavor.
