Description
A delightful fusion of creamy cheesecake and warm, spiced apple crisp, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 24 oz cream cheese, softened
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs
- 3 cups apples, peeled and sliced
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup oats
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- Caramel sauce for drizzling (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
- To make the graham cracker crust, mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter in a bowl. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar and vanilla extract, then mix in the eggs one at a time until well combined. Pour the cheesecake batter over the crust.
- In another bowl, toss sliced apples with cinnamon and sugar. Spoon the apples over the cheesecake batter, then set aside.
- For the streusel topping, combine flour, oats, brown sugar, and softened butter until crumbly. Sprinkle the streusel evenly over the apples.
- Bake for about 60-75 minutes, or until the center is set and the edges are slightly golden. Allow the cheesecake to cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
- Drizzle with caramel sauce before serving, if desired.
Notes
Make sure your cream cheese is fully softened for a smooth filling. Use a variety of apples for more depth of flavor.
