Delicious cookies inspired by the classic Almond Joy candy bar, featuring toasted almonds, shredded coconut, and melted chocolate.
Ingredients
- 2 cups shredded coconut
- 1 cup toasted almonds (chopped)
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine shredded coconut, chopped almonds, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix well until evenly combined.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
- Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave or on a double boiler. Drizzle melted chocolate over the cooled coconut clusters.
- Allow chocolate to set before serving.
