Description

Delicious cookies inspired by the classic Almond Joy candy bar, featuring toasted almonds, shredded coconut, and melted chocolate.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded coconut
  • 1 cup toasted almonds (chopped)
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine shredded coconut, chopped almonds, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix well until evenly combined.
  3. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  5. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
  6. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave or on a double boiler. Drizzle melted chocolate over the cooled coconut clusters.
