Description

Ingredients

  • 1-1.25 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs or chicken breast
  • 2/3 cup teriyaki sauce
  • Chopped scallions – optional for garnish
  • Sesame seeds – optional for garnish


Instructions

  1. Start by patting the chicken dry with a clean paper towel. Cut the chicken into 1-1.5 inch cubes and add to a medium bowl.
  2. Pour the teriyaki sauce over the chicken cubes and toss to coat. Cover and marinate for at least 30 minutes or up to 1 hour in the refrigerator.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F.
  4. Spray the air fryer basket with non-aerosol cooking spray. Add the marinated chicken in a single layer and cook for 12-15 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  5. Remove the chicken from the air fryer and serve immediately, garnished with chopped scallions and sesame seeds if desired.

Notes

For juicier results, chicken thighs are recommended. Marinate for longer if time allows for enhanced flavor.
