Description
Quick and cozy air-fried nectarines caramelized to perfection; a delightful dessert or breakfast topper.
Ingredients
- 2 nectarines
- 1 tablespoon vegan butter
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- pinch of salt (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon sugar (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (180°C).
- Cut the nectarines in half and remove the pits.
- Add the butter, maple syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg, and a pinch of salt to a small pot. Cook over medium heat until the butter melts.
- Place the nectarines in the air fryer, cut-side down. Brush with the glaze. Cook for 3 minutes.
- Open the air fryer and turn the nectarines over. Brush with the remaining glaze. Sprinkle sugar on top if desired. Cook for another 5 minutes.
- Remove from the air fryer and let cool for about 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Choose ripe but firm nectarines for the best texture. For variations, consider adding nuts or using peaches instead.
