Ingredients

  • 4 croissants, torn into pieces
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt until well combined.
  3. Place the torn croissant pieces in the greased baking dish, then pour the egg mixture over the croissants, ensuring they are all soaked.
  4. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
  5. In the morning, remove from the fridge and let it sit for 15 minutes at room temperature.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the center is set.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
